Get ready to learn a delightful technique using an array of art materials. With a choice of 20 different dog breeds (which can easily be adapted to fit your pet), or the option to depict your favorite feline friend, you're sure to find inspiration for your artwork in your furry companions. Feel free to reach out to Shannon via her Facebook page if you have any specific breed inquiries. For just $18 per person, you'll receive expert instruction and all the necessary materials for the workshop. This class is running at the same time as our annual "Gordy's Birthday PAWTY fundraiser" in support of the Humane Society of Erie County. Held at Vermilion Valley Vineyards, this event promises a day filled with various pet-themed vendors to explore, exciting raffles to participate in, lively music from a DJ, and delicious food from a food truck! Help us fill the grape bins with all of the needed items like paper towels, pet food, cat litter, and more.

Spring peepers are popping out this week! Craft adorable and practical wool dryer balls with artist Shannon Timura's guidance. Engage in the creation of lively three-dimensional spring peepers (frogs!) ADDED BONUS, you'll meet special guest, Lara D Roketenetz, University of Akron's Field Station Director, who will share insights on frog sounds and the significance of spring peepers to the Ohio ecosystem!
Create cute and functional wool dryer balls. Perfect to pop in the dryer to soften clothes and speed up drying time - reducing energy use and replacing chemical softeners. Choose from fun frogs, sweet lambs, possums or bears, oh my! Enjoy time with your friends at this beautiful winery and go home with 3 custom dryer balls to help tackle spring cleaning. The dryer balls also make incredible essential oil diffusers for your clothing drawers or towel storage.
Yay! I am honored to be a FEATURED ARTIST at this fun celebration welcoming SPRING! The new Towpath Trail Lantern Parade is a celebration of light, creativity and sustainability welcoming spring to the banks of the Cuyahoga River. The parade will take place on March 9 at 6:30 PM. It will start and end at Sokolowski’s Overlook and include a 1.6 mile roundtrip along the Towpath Trail. Free parking available at 1429 Abbey Ave. The parade will feature local artists displaying illuminated art made from recycled materials. The lanterns will celebrate nature and encourage environmentalism. Planning to join us? Make and bring your own lantern from recycled materials and a battery powered light! Hosted by Canalway, the Towpath Trail Lantern Parade is supported in part by the residents of Cuyahoga County through a public grant from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture.
